Hezogsreut (hinterschmiding) ski resort is a beautifully quaint resort which can be found in Almberg-Haidel-Dreisessel, Bavarian Forest, Bavaria, Germany.

This petite resort offers 0.5km of slopes, (0.3km of ‘easy’ and 0.2km of ‘intermediate slopes) there is just 1 operational lift to transport guests, whilst this resort is welcoming to everyone it is more specifically tailored for beginners and intermediate skiers, with low elevations of 790 and 865m this is a perfect choice for starting out. If the slopes aren’t enough then guests are encouraged to explore the valley run, a little added extra to excite skiers and snowboarders.

This resort is one that is well known amongst locals it is a private resort and offers a calming and relaxing ski experience without the pressures and speeds of larger more commercialised resorts. Families have been coming here for years to enjoy the slopes available, it is a friendly and warm place which is best suited for allowing children to build their confidence with the winter sports.
