Hidden within the Bavarian Forest, Arberland is the Arber ski resort, Germany. This cosy resort features 10km of varied slopes and 5km of alternative ski routes, throughout the resort there are 6 operational lifts running daily through the elevations of 1,050m and 1456m.
The Große Arber is the highest mountain in the Bavarian Forest and is therefore also known as the "King of the Bavarian Forest", the resort provides guests with slopes for al skiing levels, families enjoy exploring the resort which provides 4k of easy beginners slopes, 4km of intermediate slopes for novice skiers and 2km of difficult terrain to challenge experienced skiers. Arber is one of the most modern winter sports areas in Germany with a 6-person gondola, two 6-person chairlifts, the ArBär Kinderland (children's area) with 4 magic carpets, the ArBär Zwergenland (children's area) with 1 magic carpet, a fun park, floodlit slopes (most with snow-making equipment), ski rentals, ski depot and ski service. In addition to skiing, winter hiking paths, nearby cross-country trails and a floodlit toboggan run directly in the ski resort are additional ways for you to enjoy activities in the beautiful winter landscape of the Bavarian Forest.
