Hakuba resort information

An incredible skiing resort, one with terrains to suit every skiing and snowboarding ability, situated just 129km from Toyama Airport ‘Happo-One’ Hakuba, Nagano, Japan is a large resort which boasts 52km of slopes, 16km of ‘easy’ slopes, 26km of ‘intermediate’ and 10km of ‘difficult’ runs for everyone to enjoy. Elevations are between 760 and 1,831m. For some glorious views whist having a break and rehydrating, take gondola 1 or 2 to dine at the top of the mountain, or for a snack take gondola 3.

The resort offers wonderful skiing all over the mountain, with wide groomed slopes everyone can easily navigate and have fun here. Happo-One is known for being the best in the Nagano area, with fabulous snowboarding trails for experienced skiers and a vast area for beginners this resort cannot be beaten.

The location is perfect with many inns and restaurants close by, the village of Hakbua offers wonderful dining opportunities. Everything from steak, pizza, pastas and traditional Japanese cuisines.

Amenities here include; ski school, day care, children’s zone, ticket office, night skiing and hikers registration for those wo wish to tackle the mountain on foot.
