Madesimo resort information

Located in Valchiavenna, Lombardy, Italy, the ski resort Valchiavenna – Madesimo/Campodolcino is a resort with over 48.4 kilometres of slopes waiting to be discovered by snowboarders and skiers alike. Guests will be excited with the number of slopes and routes on offer which are ideal for families and beginner skiers, all the way up to intermediate and outstanding skiers.

The Italian resort consists of 48.4 kilometres of slopes with a further 7.2 kilometres of additional marked ski routes. Set between elevation ranges of 1,550 and 2,948 metres, there are plenty of slopes to get you excited, including wide open slopes with gradual descents to longer steeper slopes above and underneath treeline. To guarantee a good amount of snow throughout the season, 70% of the slopes have artificial snow making facilities.

In addition to all of this, guests can take advantage of the terrain park which has a half pipe and other obstacles so snowboarders can show off their skills. There is also night skiing on offer so guests can ski in the moonlight. When it's time to take a break from the slopes, there are a selection of cosy mountain restaurants to wind down in. The Ristoro Larici and the Rifugio Val Di Lei serve amazing Italian delicacies and if you're after something a little livelier then there the Sky Express Bar which has a wide range of beverages.
