Investment Potential in Chamrousse

Buying a property in Chamrousse is a fantastic opportunity to own a home close to some of the best skiing and outdoor sporting activities possible. Transport to Chamrousse

Chamrousse is a wonderfully accessible location in south eastern France. Many airlines, both budget and luxury, fly to the local area as it is such a popular location for skiers and holidaymakers alike.

Chambery airport is a 1 hour and 15 minutes’ drive away with regular public transport links and good local taxi services. Trains regularly run from Paris to Chambery station which is centrally located and offers a great way to visit Chamrousse from anywhere in Europe. For example, from London you could be in Chamrousse in ten hours, taking in wonderful scenery along the way.

Due to specialist equipment, many visitors to the local area choose to drive and usually the snow allows this through the mountainous area. There is also a snow train which could be a great option for that final leg of the journey in all weather conditions. Snow fall averages between 140 and 220cm at this time of year, depending on where on the mountain you are. In the last few months weather conditions have been impractical for skiing five times, meaning that conditions are usually perfect for outdoor sports.
