The fantastic Glasberg–Zwiesel ski resort is located in Arberland in the Bavarian Forest area of Germany and is only a 27-minute transfer from the nearest airport. This petite resort offers an intimate skiing experience with 0.4 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes, perfect for beginners and children and is a wonderful place for your young ones to learn how to ski and snowboard.
The mountains around the Zwiesel resort offer ideal skiing conditions and with elevations between 580 metres and 690 metres, 1 operational lift to transport visitors and its sunny slopes give the resort perfect conditions for alpine skiing. Beginners need to head towards the Glasberglift which is situated on the edge of the resort, it is an easy sunny slope which is very suited for children and beginners. During the winter months of December and March there is a ski bus which runs up to 4 times per day which is completely free of charge. The floodlit slopes are also an added bonus and allow you to take the skiing fun through the day into the night, perfect for night owls who find there are not enough hours in the day to indulge in their passion of skiing.
