For those wanting easy, low-altitude skiing and an escape from the crowded slopes, Sachrang ticks all of the boxes. With just 3km of slopes at an elevation between 739 metres and 850 metres, guests are able to utilise the 6 ski lifts on-site to get around.
The easy navigation and easy slopes make for an exceptionally easy ski, and subsequently the resort attracts families and first-time skiers for the most part. Located in the Chiemsee Alps area of Germany, the resort is accessible by using either Innsbruck Airport or Salzburg Airport, both of which are an hour’s drive.
There are two welcoming restaurants within an easy walk of the resort, meaning you can have a bite to eat after a hard day in the snow. Hotel zur Post has an Italian restaurant serving all manner of delicacies, whilst the Muellner Alm has a cosy beer garden and plenty of refreshments for visitors and residents to enjoy.
