With 2 kilometres of slopes and elevations between 650 and 800 meters, this is a perfect resort for families and those who are new to this winter sport, all 2 kilometres of slopes are classified as ‘easy’ blue runs and give residents and visitors the opportunity to really find their feet on the slopes. In the Geising ski area "on the Wache", you will find 2 T-bar lifts as well as a "baby lift" ideal for children and beginners. There is a special little mountain myth about Frau Holle who is a fairy tale character who makes snow for the resort, the children particularly enjoy searching for her and making special gifts for her made out of the snow. Fantastic news for night owls is the fact that night skiing is available as the runs can stay open until 22:00 due to the floodlights on the slopes. Skiing can be hungry work, so if you’re after a little break and a bite to eat there is a snack bar located directly at the base of the ski slope that provides food and refreshments for the guests.
