Within the Allgäuer Seenland area of Germany, the Schwärzenlifts – Eschach ski resort is a fantastic spot for skiing and snowboarding. It has over 4km of fresh slopes and 8 ski liftas to ferry guests around, all between elevations of 1,020m and 1,100m. With it being a smaller resort than larger ones in the area, it ensures visitors and residents can enjoy their experience on the snow without the threat of too many other skiers clogging up the slopes.
Quite simply, the resort consists of 3.5km of easy slopes and 0.5km of intermediate slopes. With an emphasis on beginners, this resort is ideal for those who have minimal skiing experience or those who haven’t been skiing at all. There are also ideal conditions for families and young children, as the descent is so gradual it means there are no danger spots.
After an exciting day getting to grips with the slopes, visitors and residents can find some great eateries to visit in Eschach, including Getscheralp Eschach, Hanusel Hof and Schneider’s Snack Bar.
