The ski resort Kegelberg – Erlbach is nestled in between the Ore Mountains of Saxony, Germany. It is often referred to as a ski and snow paradise and is the most western ski resort in the Region of Saxony. The resort itself may be petite but is sure does live up to expectations and sets high standards of skiing.
The ski resort itself consists of 2.9 kilometres of slopes of all difficulty levels with elevation ranges between 570 and 755 metres and is more suitable for families and beginner skiers. There are 1.5 kilometres of easy slopes and 1.4. Kilometres of intermediate slopes for guests to explore, and for those looking for something a little more challenging then there is an additional 0.5 kilometres of marked ski routes. Night owls will revel in the fact that there is night skiing available as well as a snow park where boarders can show off their skills on a range of obstacles.
The fun doesn’t stop with skiing, guests can take part in an abundance of other activities including alpine skiing and snowboarding, cross-country skiing, skating, tobogganing, winter hiking and even romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides.
