Brotterode resort information

Located in amongst the Thuringian Forest, Germany, the Seimberg – Brotterode ski resort is a wonderful place for those who are new to winter sports, offering up 0.7km of slopes and 1 ski lift to use as well. Within elevations of 608m and 704m, this resort has everything a novice skier could ask for, including gentle descents that are perfect to practice on.

In totality, the slopes are all classified as easy blue runs, meaning families and those new to skiing and snowboarding are often found here in abundance. A lack of overcrowding makes this an ideal resort for pleasure skiers, taking their time on the snow, rather than speeding headlong down a mountainside. Young children can be found learning for the first time here, due to the safe facilities and lack of danger areas.

For those who just want a quick bite to eat after a strenuous ski day, the Karos Burger & Pizza Saloon is perfect for families with mouths to feed. Alternatively, try the Waldschänke Dreiherrnstein for a quiet, relaxing atmosphere and great food.
