Brauneck ski resort is located in Tolzer Land Germany, it is a wonderful choice for skiing and snowboarding. In total, guests are able to enjoy 34km of slopes, 16 operational lifts and elevations between 700m and 1712m.
The slopes have been divided into three categories of difficulty, easy, intermediate and difficult. There are 8km of easy slopes, 22km at intermediate level and 4km of difficult runs to challenge the most advanced skiers.
There are snow cannons available throughout the resort to ensure snow is always fresh and to high levels. The longest run available is a family run at 3km in length, which has in recent years been modified and updated, allowing for it to be safer and more enjoyable for families. The most difficult run is the Garland run, which is 1km in length.
Brauneck ski resort offers more than skiing, as it is a photographer’s delight. There are some breath-taking views to witness including the Bavarian Alpine foothills and the Karwendel Mountains. Aside from the views, there are many mouth-watering restaurants to be visited, serving menus suitable for everyone, and as the ski resort is only 60km from Munich a day trip out is a must.
With courses lit by floodlights, Night skiing is a really fun experience, especially if you don’t get enough skiing in the day.
