The ski resort Maiskogel – Kaprun is a lovely family mountain resort located in Zell am See-Kaprun, Salzburg Austria and is just over an hour away from Salzburg Airport. With over 20 kilometres of slopes and elevations between 769 and 1,733 metres, the resort offers something that appeals to all skill levels.
There are 14 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes, perfect for young children and more novice skiers who are looking to get to build on their skills, slow slopes and pleasant gliding is ensured. with the majority of slopes being classified as easy there is lots of terrain to choose from for practicing skills, there is also the Maisi pommel lift where children can take their first steps in the snow on smooth terrain. The 5 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ slopes mean that the more experienced skiers and boarders can have an unforgettable time on the slopes. 1 kilometre of ‘expert’ black slopes challenge even the most confident skiers, putting their skills to the test. Slope No. 30 which is 1 kilometre in length, is the most demanding run of the resort, leading down the mountain station of the Alm lift. The resorts 3 lifts make transportation around the resort a breeze.

is the best après ski scene in The Valley. It consists of two full bars and a dining area and is located at the Schaufelberg lift base station – a must stop before leaving the slopes.
