Karlstift (Bad Großpertholz) resort information

Located in the Oberes Waldviertel are of Austria, the Ski Resort Aichelberglifts – Karlstift provides ski fun for the whole family in an awe-inspiring backdrop. Residents can take advantage of the 8km of pistes to ski and snowboard on, all the way through the scenic alpine slopes.

This resort attracts a diverse range of residents who are keen to experience everything the area has to offer. With elevation ranges between 900 and 1,050 meters with a leaning towards easy and intermediate slopes, it an ideal destination for novice skiers and families, although it does provide an expert slope for those who are confident skiers and up for the challenge of something a little more ambitious. There is a total of 3 ski lifts to transport residents across the resort and for those who are looking to improve their abilities, there is a ski school called "Skischlub Nordwand" with highly trained, enthusiastic ski and snowboard instructors, guests of all ages can take part in fun and effective lessons to grow in both confidence and technique.

Curling as well as tobogganing on the two illuminated cableways and winter walks are but some of the alternative activities the resort has to offer. For après-ski, residents can warm up and refresh after a strenuous and beautiful day of skiing in the cosy and homely guest house. With friendly company and tasty meals it is easy for one to spend so many hours here and unwind for some well needed and deserved rest and relaxation.
