The ski resort Ifen is considered to be a medium sized resort with a total of 19 kilometres of slopes for skiers and snowboarders to experience with elevation ranges between 1,280 and 2,030 metres. Ifen is located in Kleinwalsertal, Vorarlberg in Austria and is the second largest ski resort in the Kleinwalsertal area and is only a 1 hour 20-minute transfer from Memmingen Airport.
There is plenty of terrain to explore, with perfectly groomed slopes ideal for families and beginners right up to the most experienced of skiers. Novice skiers can gain confidence on 10.6 kilometres of easy slopes there is even a practice area for beginners located at the Gaisbuehl lift and the wider and smoother descents of the Gottesacker slope is an ideal starting place. For those wanting a little more of a challenge there are 6.2 kilometres of intermediate slopes and the extreme thrill seekers can tackle the 2.2 kilometres of expert black runs including the Olympia slope which is the most difficult run in the resort and is 1 kilometre in length.
There is a small selection of welcoming restaurants and bars on site meaning you can have a bite to eat after a hard day in the snow. Guests can enjoy après ski at the Stadlbar next to the Ifenhuette or at the après ski bar at the Auenhuette. The Ifen-Hütte is a cosy hut with a large sun terrace, here you can enjoy delicious food and amazing views if the surrounding area.
