Gargellen ski resort is a medium sized resort which can be found in Montafon, Vorarlberg, Bludenz in Austria. It is the highest ski resort in Montafon and stretches up to 2,300 metres. For skiing and snowboarding there are 28.1 kilometres of slopes available and an additional 5.5 kilometres of ski routes to challenge the more advanced skiers. There are 8 lifts available and elevations are between 1,423 and 2,300 metres.
The Gargellen ski resort offers slopes of all difficulty levels. There are 20.8 kilometres of wide and easy runs for beginners on the slopes of the Schafberg Plateau. The easy ‘Täli’ slope leads from the mountain station of the Kristall lift through the valley into the Gargellner Alpe. There are also practice slopes and a fun little slope for children located on the Schafberg Plateau. For more confident skiers there are 5.3 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ slopes and 2 kilometres of ‘expert’ slopes for to challenge the more experienced of skiers, the most difficult run being the Lange Seite run which is 1 kilometre in length.
